A new year, already? How did these 12 months pass so quickly?
Our schedule is mostly filled these days and we are reluctant to take on new clients unless we are sure we can give them the attention they deserve. Growth is good but controlled growth is better and we are faced with an aged old dilema concerning controlled growth. Do we continue to take on new clients and add employees to keep up with demand? Or do we slow our growth and focus on giving personal service to all of our clients?
Adding employees is tricky because we are then forced to become distracted with training and supervision.
I think the best way for us to handle additional demand is by honing our services to a fine tuned focus while keeping our eyes out for dedicated profession level employees that can take the ball and run with it when they join our team. Finding people who love cemeteries and caring for gravesites instead of people who are just looking for a job. That’s the key, right?
We love our customers. We don’t want your level of service to decline or suffer because of our success.
